Chittagong College, Chittagong

Chittagong College is one of the leading and important colleges in Bangladesh. In the year 1909 Intermediate level was introduced and then the institution turned into college in 1910. At present this college is given that Graduation Courses in 17 Subjects and Postgraduate courses in 18 subjects. Till nowadays it conducts H.S.C. courses both in science and Humanities. The total number of students stands about 16000 presently. The college has five academic buildings, a library having about 50000books, a two storied mosque and a large auditorium with all academic conveniences. Many students of the college have made a major contribution to different social, economic, political and intellectual arenas of Bangladesh. In the middle of them Beni Madhab Das, Jogesh Chandra Singha, Mansury Uddin, Motahar hossain Chowdhury. and Dr. Mohammad Yunus and many more is so popular.
