Chittagong College is one of the leading and important colleges in Bangladesh. In the year 1909 Intermediate level was introduced and then the institution turned into college in 1910. At present this college is given that Graduation Courses in 17 Subjects and Postgraduate courses in 18 subjects. Till nowadays it conducts H.S.C. courses both in science and Humanities. The total number of students stands about 16000 presently. The college has five academic buildings, a library having about 50000books, a two storied mosque and a large auditorium with all academic conveniences. Govt. Commerce College, Chittagong

Govt Commerce College is a well kown college in Bangladesh. Once upon a time there was a place called Agra in port city Chittagong. The area was accepted for the high scale water flow during the rainy season without having any river close to it. Everything was going well. Then created a disagreement between the name Agra. Because India possessed the same & it got an Emperor there. So according to the power of emperor, India remain stood on their stage & as a poor country, Bangladesh has to change the name with heart full of shame.
